VPNWT / HELP DESK

Help Center

Find answers by topic: accounts and subscriptions, connections and troubleshooting, speed and routes, or billing and refunds. Check the panel status first, then look at your client and target app.

Updating a subscription doesn’t mean paying again, and a client showing “connected” doesn’t mean the target app is using the selected route. Keep the original error message and change one setting at a time. For help, submit a support ticket through the user panel. Don’t share your password or full subscription link.

Account & Subscriptions

Your account stores order and subscription details; your client loads the configuration. If the information doesn’t match, check the account first, then update the configuration.

What information do I need to create an account, and where can I find my subscription?

No email address is required—just a username and password. After signing in to the user panel, check your account overview for your plan status and data usage. Then visit the client downloads section to get an app for your operating system and find the subscription import option. Your login details are for signing in; the subscription link lets your client load route configurations. They serve different purposes, so don’t share your subscription link publicly. Keep your username and password safe, and import the subscription on your own device. If the panel and client show different information, update the subscription first, then check that the client has selected the configuration you just imported.

How do I update my subscription link, and when should I import it again?

Sign in to the user panel and check your current subscription status. In your client, open subscription or configuration management, select the VPNWT subscription and update it. When the update finishes, check that the route list has refreshed and that the updated configuration is still active. If the client says the link has expired, return to the panel to get the current subscription link, replace the old one and update again. Avoid importing the same link repeatedly, as this can create several similarly named configurations. If the update fails, check your device’s network connection and the error message. Before sharing a troubleshooting screenshot, hide the full subscription link and any access credentials.

Do I need a new plan when I switch devices? How many devices can connect at once?

There’s no device limit on simultaneous connections, and switching devices alone doesn’t mean you need a new plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, download a client for its operating system and import your active subscription. VPNWT supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux; available setup options are shown in the user panel. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data, so check your account’s data usage when using several devices. If you no longer use the old device, remove its saved subscription configuration to avoid connecting by mistake later. After switching, verify the exit region and target app on the new device.

The client shows routes, but my account status or data usage doesn’t match. What should I do?

The client may be showing a route list from a previously saved configuration, so that alone doesn’t confirm your subscription is active. First, make sure you’re signed in to the right account in the user panel. Check your plan status, data usage and order history, then update the subscription in your client and confirm that the active configuration belongs to that account. If the information still doesn’t match, note what the panel and client show and the steps that led to the issue, then submit a support ticket. Keep relevant status messages visible in screenshots, but hide passwords, subscription links and sensitive payment details. Don’t delete order records or pay again just to refresh the route list.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check each step in order: your local network, configuration, connection status and app requests. This helps keep separate issues from getting mixed up.

It says connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

“Connected” usually means the client completed its connection process; it doesn’t guarantee that requests to a particular website are going through the selected route. First, check that your regular internet connection works. Then make sure your VPNWT subscription is active, the right configuration is enabled, and the client’s system proxy or network routing permissions are working. Test another website to see whether the issue affects one site or all sites, and try another route to check whether the error changes. If only your browser is affected, check its proxy settings and extensions. If all apps are affected, check whether another network tool is also handling connections. Change one setting at a time to help identify the cause.

Why can my browser access the internet when a particular app can’t use the proxy?

Apps may handle system proxy settings differently, so browser access doesn’t mean every app uses the same connection path. Check your client’s routing rules to see whether the app or domain is set to connect directly, then check whether the app has its own proxy settings. Apps may keep existing connections after launch, so quit and reopen the app after changing rules. If you need network-wide routing mode, read the client’s instructions and grant the required permissions. Don’t run multiple network routing tools at the same time. Verify the result using the target app’s actual requests and exit information. If the problem persists, include the app name, operating system, mode and error message in your support ticket.

Subscription import fails or an update returns an error. How can I troubleshoot it?

First, identify whether the failure occurred while fetching, parsing or connecting with the configuration. If the configuration can’t be fetched, check your internet connection and make sure you copied the full subscription link. If parsing fails, confirm that your client supports the import method shown in the panel; a webpage URL isn’t a subscription link. If the configuration appears but its routes won’t connect, troubleshoot the connection instead of importing it again. Check whether the client is still using an older configuration, too. When submitting a support ticket, include the error message and steps you took, but don’t paste the full subscription link. Get client downloads and setup instructions from the user panel.

I lose connection after sleep or switching networks. Should I reinstall the client?

After a device wakes from sleep or switches networks, the existing connection may need to be re-established. Try reconnecting first, then decide whether a reinstall is necessary. Check that the client is still running, the right configuration is enabled and the operating system still grants the required network permissions. Then make sure the new network can access websites. If reconnecting doesn’t work, try another route and note whether the error changes. Before reinstalling, save your configuration names and any important settings so you don’t lose them. If the issue only occurs on a particular network, describe the network type and what changed in your support ticket rather than simply saying you can’t connect.

Useful details for a support ticket include your operating system and client, what you were doing when the error occurred, the exact message and the troubleshooting steps you’ve tried. Your password and full subscription link aren’t needed for troubleshooting.

Speed & Routes

Choose routes based on the target region, your local network and what you’ll use them for. Route types and coverage don’t replace testing in the app itself.

How can I troubleshoot slow speeds during peak hours and find where the slowdown is?

Pause background downloads and sync tasks on your device. Check whether your local connection is slow too, then compare routes using the same app and content. Keep the test conditions consistent; changing your network, route and playback settings at the same time makes it hard to tell what helped. If regular websites load normally but video keeps buffering, check the source, platform status and device decoding. If everything is slow, start by checking your local network and client connection. Choose a route based on how the target service actually performs, not just one latency reading. In your support ticket, note when the issue occurred, your network type, route name and affected app.

How do I choose between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

Route types describe how a connection is made; they don’t guarantee that a particular app will work. IEPL routes are worth comparing when cross-border link performance matters. Relay routes forward traffic through an intermediate node, while direct routes depend on the actual path between your local network and the destination exit. The available route types are listed in the current route list. To start, check which regions the target service supports, then compare connection quality, page load times and app response across routes in those regions. For extended streaming or work sessions, test during the hours you’ll actually use the service rather than relying on one successful connection. See the global locations page for more route selection tips.

Which regions are covered, and why does a service still say my region isn’t supported?

VPNWT covers 100+ countries / 180+ routes. Check the user panel or refresh your client for the current regions and route names. Route coverage means a network path is available; it doesn’t mean the target platform offers its service in every region. Platforms may also use your account region, payment region, exit IP and their own rules to determine access. If you see a region restriction, check that your exit location matches a region supported by the platform, then confirm the target app is using that route and reconnect it. A flag alone can’t confirm access, and frequently changing account details to test regions isn’t recommended. Check the platform’s own guidance for its rules.

Do I need to keep switching routes for AI tools and streaming?

Frequent route switching doesn’t need to be part of your routine. Choose an exit region supported by the platform, then check that sign-in, content loading and normal use all work. Once you find a route that works well on your network, keep your setup consistent. Access to AI tools can also depend on your account status and the platform’s risk checks. Streaming may depend on the available catalog, playback permissions and your device, so a successful connection doesn’t guarantee the app will work. If something goes wrong, note the platform’s exact message, then compare routes with a specific reason in mind. VPNWT provides network connectivity; account reviews, content licensing and payment rules are controlled by each platform.

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date. Data packs last until used and never expire. Check account and order status in the user panel.

How much is a monthly plan, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check your account usage and typical needs before choosing a plan; adding devices alone doesn’t mean you need a higher tier. There’s no device limit, but data is still managed according to your plan. Monthly plans and data packs work differently, so compare the right type of plan. Before upgrading, review the change details in the panel. If you’re unsure about the reset date or plan change, submit a support ticket with your current plan and relevant order details instead of placing another order.

What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan? Do data packs expire?

Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Monthly plan data resets on your activation date. The right option depends on how regularly you use the service: compare monthly data allowances if you use it consistently, or consider a data pack for more occasional use. The no-expiration policy applies to data packs, not monthly plans. If you already have a plan and are considering another billing option, check the change details in the panel first. The available information doesn’t specify how combined data balances are used, so don’t assume data will automatically be added together. Submit a support ticket if you need to check what applies to your account.

Which payment methods are accepted, and what should I do if my plan doesn’t appear after payment?

VPNWT accepts Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. If your plan doesn’t appear after payment, check your order status and account overview in the user panel, and make sure you’re viewing the account used for payment. A successful message on the payment page and an updated plan status in the panel are separate things to check. Don’t pay again straight away or rely on an old route list in the client to confirm your order. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, submit a support ticket with the order ID, payment status and a description of the issue. Hide sensitive payment details in screenshots. Follow the panel status and support response to find out whether any further payment or order action is needed. Don’t send payment details to unknown contacts outside the site.

How long is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?

VPNWT offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket section and include your request and the relevant order ID so the payment and account details can be checked. See the refund policy and terms of service for the applicable rules. You can save your order status before submitting; you don’t need to share your password or subscription link. If you can’t sign in, check your username, password and internet connection first—troubleshooting doesn’t require another payment. Follow up through the same ticket and provide any additional information requested. Refund status depends on the response to your request; this help page doesn’t promise a separate processing time.
